Naturalia Exhibition

Last Wednesday, on the 7th of May at 6:00 PM took place the official art show opening of my exhibition, Naturalia, at the Wilanowski Cultural Centre at 11 Radosna St. in Warsaw.

The Naturalia exhibition is a multifaceted narrative about the natural world, presented through both figurative and abstract artistic languages. The display features works inspired by the richness of flora and fauna, drawing from the tradition of scientific illustration as well as from the primal forces of nature.

The figurative part of the exhibition is rooted in the legacy of classical nature illustrators such as John James Audubon, Franco Testa, and Maria Sibylla Merian. Their precise and passionate approach to documenting nature served as a foundation for the creation of works that, on one hand, celebrate the beauty and complexity of living organisms, and on the other, evoke reflection on the fragility of ecosystems.

Three-dimensional representations of animals also appear, including the Golden Turtle – an Asian symbol of longevity and rebirth.

In the abstract current, the artist draws inspiration from the elements – water, earth, air, and fire – as well as from organic geological forms, plant structures, and the rhythms of nature. These works do not depict nature directly, but rather convey the emotional and sensory essence of natural processes such as erosion, growth, flow, and transience.

Naturalia is an invitation to contemplate nature – both the kind visible to the eye and that which operates beyond the limits of human perception. The exhibition creates a space for dialogue between science and art, between observation and intuition.

I'd like to cordially invite all those, who couldn't make it to the vernissage, but would still like to see the exhibition. The art show will take place tille the 9th of June, so there is plenty of time to see it in person.
